Solution

A G-shaped modular kitchen with black granite counters and backsplash, dark glossy base cabinets and a built-in spice rack niche. A fluted wood island doubles as a breakfast counter, with the same reeded wood carried through the door frames and pooja door surround beyond, tying the kitchen to the rest of the home.

Home Admire took on this kitchen in Karur with a clear brief: a hardworking, easy-to-clean space that still felt considered, built to a fixed budget of ₹9.5 lakh.

The layout runs G-shaped, giving the cook a full run of black granite counter and backsplash along two walls, with dark glossy base cabinets underneath and a recessed spice rack built into the wall for everyday jars and containers. A ceiling-level wood pelmet with concealed lighting frames the space and softens the black-and-white palette.
