The client wanted to elevate their apartment in Tambaram with specific custom elements. Their primary requirements were a highly detailed, freestanding Pooja wardrobe with traditional motifs and a layered, modern false ceiling design to serve as the focal point for the main living area.

Solution

We crafted a stunning freestanding Pooja unit featuring dark lower drawers and pristine white doors with complex circular CNC cutouts. For the living room, we designed a multi-level false ceiling incorporating suspended grey panels, a central circular cove, and warm ambient lighting.

The Intricate CNC Pooja Wardrobe A dedicated Pooja room isn't always possible in modern apartments, so we designed a beautiful, freestanding Pooja wardrobe that fits seamlessly into the living space. The base consists of dark, wood-grain finish drawers offering deep storage for spiritual items. The standout feature, however, is the upper cabinet doors. Finished in pristine white, they feature a massive, highly intricate circular mandala pattern created via precision CNC routing. We also integrated subtle, traditional bell and Diya (lamp) motifs into the design, creating a piece of furniture that doubles as art.

Multi-Layered Modern False Ceilings To match the premium feel of the custom furniture, we completely overhauled the living room ceiling. Moving away from standard flat false ceilings, we designed a complex, multi-layered geometric ceiling. The design features suspended dark grey rectangular panels that elegantly frame the ceiling fans, interspersed with a smooth central circular cove. Warm LED strip lighting is hidden within these layers, casting a soft, ambient glow that elevates the entire room without the need for harsh direct lights.
